C.). Muestra una figura central sentada en postura de piernas cruzadas, con un ser cornudo, rodeado de animales (rinoceronte, elefante, b\u00fafalo\/buey, tigre) y una breve l\u00ednea de signos del Indo encima. La figura es inusualmente humana y prominente en comparaci\u00f3n con los sellos con motivos animales comunes en el corpus.<\/p><p>Sir John Marshall (d\u00e9cada de 1930) propuso que la figura era un \u00abSe\u00f1or de los Animales\u00bb (Pashupati) y una forma temprana de \u015aiva debido a: el tocado con cuernos, los animales alrededor de la figura central, el atributo asumido y la postura de piernas cruzadas que asoci\u00f3 con la pr\u00e1ctica y\u00f3guica. Esta interpretaci\u00f3n populariz\u00f3 el t\u00e9rmino \u00abproto-\u015aiva\u00bb.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b5a27d2 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"b5a27d2\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Mito o verdad?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1ebb79e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1ebb79e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>En base a la influencia de las hipotesis planteadas por Sir John Marshall, se ha forjado un poderoso mito de continuidad entre la civilizaci\u00f3n del Indo y el hinduismo. Sin embargo, a medida que la investigaci\u00f3n ha avanzado con el paso del tiempo, arque\u00f3logos e investigadores contempor\u00e1neos han decidido tomar con cautela el tema. An\u00e1lisis modernos revelaron que las llamadas \u00abtres cabezas\u00bb del sello podr\u00edan ser orejas alargadas, y su supuesto s\u00edmbolo f\u00e1lico, simplemente un cintur\u00f3n decorativo. Lo que una vez pareci\u00f3 una imagen directa de \u015aiva comenz\u00f3 a disolverse en una historia humana m\u00e1s compleja: una de rituales, realeza y cultura.<\/p><p>En un reciente estudio de 2024, Descifrando la Escritura del Indo y el Sello Pashupati de la Civilizaci\u00f3n del Valle del Indo, el arque\u00f3logo Shahbaig K.K. retoma este enigma con una perspectiva fundamentada pero imaginativa. Sus hallazgos proponen que el sello no representa a un dios, sino a un rey ritual u \u00abHombre Cornudo\u00bb, un l\u00edder elegido mediante ritos ceremoniales para actuar como intermediario entre las personas y la naturaleza. Los animales circundantes (tigre, toro, rinoceronte, elefante) simbolizan el poder, la fertilidad y la extensi\u00f3n territorial de su reinado. La figura, por lo tanto, no es divina, sino profundamente humana: un s\u00edmbolo de gobierno ligado a los ciclos de la tierra y la cosecha. La interpretaci\u00f3n de Shahbaig tambi\u00e9n reconecta el sello con el registro material m\u00e1s amplio (altares de fuego de Kalibangan, figurillas de fertilidad y otros motivos masculinos con cuernos), lo que sugiere un sistema pol\u00edtico-religioso que fusionaba el liderazgo con el deber sagrado en lugar de los \u00e1mbitos separados de la iglesia y el estado.<\/p><p>Este cambio del mito a la evidencia no despoja de misterio al sello Pashupati, sino que lo profundiza.
